ABOUT NHRM
The national rural health mission was first launched in India in 2005 by the Prime Minister with a special focus on 18 states in the country including the Manipur state. The vision of this mission is to provide a quality, affordable and accessible health care system in rural areas, strengthen the public health management and access system by enhancing architechtectural design, reduction in child and maternal mortality rate, promotion of a healthy lifestyle, etc.
