The Kalinga Institute of industrial technology KIIT is deemed to be the university's 17 annual anniversary conducted. On the occasion, Chief Guest was Shri Dharmendra Pradhan- Hon'ble minister of education and skill development & entrepreneurship Govt of India.
Moreover on the anniversary ceremony Convocation was addressed by Professor Jean Marie Lehn. He is a noble laureate in chemistry (1987), France. He will receive the Honoris causa degree.
Also, it is a big news that KIIT DU will also offer the course of Honoris causa degrees on Sri Mala amritanandamayi Devi Amma- spiritual leader, Guru & Humanitarian and Shri Vallabhai Bhansahali- cO FOUNDER enam SECURITIES, fOUNDER DESH APNAYEN Sahayog Foundation and founder-director Flame University.
